Nokia to launch X6 smartphone today in China; All you need to
Nokia, the smartphone brand that has recently confirmed to be back in profit in India within a year of re-launching its handsets, is all set to launch a new series of smartphones in China.
Today's launch is expected to include two new Nokia smartphones under the X-series. For those unaware, Nokia's first Android smartphone was also called the Nokia X, which was launched in February 2014.
The latest development in this regard is that Nokia is planning a week-long event, where is launching more than one series of smartphones, as reported by NokiaPowerUser. The handset maker has posted on Weibo, that includes excerpts like “get the latest equipment Nokia X” "New machines from April 27 to May 2."
One of the handset of the upcoming duo is being claimed to be a handset called Nokia X6. An image of the upcoming smartphone was also spotted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, which shows that Nokia X6 is going to sport an iPhone X-like notch and a dual rear camera setup. If the image is anything close to reality, this will be Nokia's first handset to sport a notch.
Apart from the design, another leak has revealed the specifications of the handset. As per the leak, the Nokia X6 has a 5.8-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2280p resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.The smartphone is expected to come in two processor variants — Snapdragon 636 SoC and MediaTek P60 processor and two storage variants — 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage. For camera, there is a dual camera setup with one of them being a 12MP Zeiss lens, like the Nokia 8 Sirocco. Like the other Nokia smartphones, this device is also expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
